Havent been posting due to my work and school!

But I AM BACK!
Still quite inactive due to my fracture...but I am starting back. I'm going for my boxing class 2 times a week.
I NEED MY EARPIECE TO DO MY CARDIO. Anybody else feels the same? No music no mood?
Well....Thank goodness....due to my inactivity, I HAVENT GAINED ANY WEIGHT....or rather gained a small amount...very very insignificant...maybe 200grams? hahahaha..anyway my body looks alright...but less toned...

My face actually looks A LITTLE sharper.....I drank korean barley tea...somehow it reduced my bloatedness....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!


I woke up early and had apple juice. I just feel like having apple juice...freshly made...at least its better than bottled ones....2 greens and 1 red. Yummy! It woke me up too...apple naturally wakes humans up...i have no idea why....natural caffeine I guess. 

I had this for breakfast. Bee hoon soup with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, razor clam and egg plus chili and garlic.

Boxing day!

I still got about 15kgs I would wanna lose. Havent been really dieting and stuff, but I'm still active..or BARELY active. My only exercise now is boxing. I LOVE BOXING, but I miss lifting weights too....BUT my wrist is still healing from a fracture. And injury sucks. i can't lift weights, but I can do cardio and aerobic exercises. Will up on that intensity.

Flexibility

How flexible are you?
It doesn't mean that if you are very flexible you are fit. Being too flexible has a downside. Your muscles are overstretched and it may be weak. So always include strength exercises with flexibility stretching.

Yea, that's my flexibility of my thighs. 

My calves, not so. hahahaha...my calves are super tight cause I don't stretch them regularly. I needa start stretching them.

How do I stretch my inner thighs?
I spread my legs onto a wall to the max I can, and I hold for about a min and then i loosen it, and i go back to the stretching again and i try to push forward while taking in deep breaths.


Remember: DO NOT BOUNCE! It will injure you. Maybe muscle tear or strain. Just, DON'T.

Negative of the caffeine

Yawn....or rather my body is too tired to yawn also...i took a warm bath n almost fell asleep. The caffeine pill lasted me 9hours. 2 of them. Equivalent to 4 shots of expresso. It's like it borrows energy from the hours after it wears off. Long day tmr again. Gonna sleep! Nites!

The fatigue b4 the period

I am so so so tired. Even after sleeping, I woke up feeling like i got bang by a lorry. Not only bang, it 3 point turn me n bang again! I have a long long day n i just couldn't drag myself out...so i had my last resort. Caffeine pills. These miracle pills omph u up with energy n focus.It also reduces migraine. Bad side: u have to pee often cos it's a diuretic. The weather is SO hot today. Goodness. It's one of those rare days whereby im craving for plain water. Plain ice cold water.

healthy snack to curb your sugar cravings

All grilled for 20 mins and topped with pasta sauce(0 fat)


Roast chicken recipe!

What you need:
1)1 chicken
2) rosemary herb
3)lemons
4)ginger
5)garlic
6) olive oil
7) salt

 

 Mix the rosemary, olive oil, garlic and some lemon zest well:

 Massage the chicken with salt and apply the oil mixture, stuff the garlic and ginger and lemon inside the chicken and tie the thigh together

Put in the oven. 45mins in 250 degrees


After 45 mins, take the chicken out and pour the juices all over the chicken


Put it into the oven again for 20 mins and
TADA!

Whatever you eat, your body absorb and uses it for daily living and survival. So whatever you it, your body reflects it. If you eat a lot of processed food, your face looks processed. Ever wonder why some people look grey or yellow or pink? It's in their food. if you look yellowish, check your liver. Something is wrong with your liver function. if you look grey....i've got nth to say already.

How to look pinkish?
Take lots of antioxidants. Food like BERRIES. RED BEANS. RED KIDNEY BEANS. weird uh...all these foods are of the red shade. 
Another thing, exercise. It improves your blood circulation and pump more blood to your arteries, and capillaries to make you look pinkish and u will have that natural blush. 
Last thing, DRINK WATER. Drink up. It will give you that natural glow you want and not dry and flaky skin or tight skin.

Science teacher lost 17 kg just by eating McDonald’s?

US Science teacher John Cisna, lost almost 17kg and had his cholesterol level lowered after 90 days of eating just McDonald’s.
Sounds impossible? Well, not for this man at least.
For three months, the teacher only had McDonald’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
During the “experiment”, he became healthier and even picked up walking.
Now here’s where it all makes sense.
The experiment came with strict guidelines too. One of it was to make sure he sticks to a 2,000 calorie diet a day.
Cisna roped in his students to help by getting them to construct his daily meal plans based on the nutritional information found onMcDonald’s website.
The students also made sure that his meals contained the recommended amount of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
His meals included cheeseburgers as well as the healthier options such as oatmeal and egg whites.
At the end of the 90 days, Cisna’s deduction of the experiment goes as follows: “I can eat any food at McDonald’s that I want as long as I’m smart with the rest of the day at what I balance it out with.”
The conclusion was a polar opposite to what happened in another similar experiment seen in popular documentary “Super Size Me”, where a man went through a one-month experiment of eating only McDonald’s meals. His health deteriorated greatly.
With the success of Cisna’s experiment, we now know that there is still hope for the fast food junkie.

Girls...you know that craving b4 your period....

U know I know we all know la girls...and GUYS, pls do understand our cravings....dun say we eat like pigs or whatnots....YOU DUNNO HOW WE FEEL. Its like we can eat an entire cow.

Top food that women crave is CHOCOLATE. Yes? Correct?

When a woman is ovulating and closing to the M days, our need for magnesium increases like hell. And CHOCOLATE is rich in that stuff. So what to do if you crave for chocolate but you are watching your diet? Go for DARK CHOCOLATE of at least 65%.

Another thing we crave for is carbs. CARBS. CARBS. CARBS. Rice, noodles, potato, bread...you body needs extra energy to lose that uterus lining and toxins and stuff...go for good carbs like wholemeal bread, brown rice, wild rice, oatmeal...yea..no choice...white rice, noodles will tend to make you feel bloated cos b4 your period, your digestive system kinda 'shuts off' for a while and you get gassy easily. Avoid gluten as much as possible and gassy drinks.

One more thing that women crave, SALT. For some reason, potato chips will always attack my cravings. I would attack potato chips like NOBODY business. ESP salty ones and LAYS, RUFFLES...And I would eat them with coke. Eh, chips and coke go well tgt ok? But ah, CONTROL...CONTROL...CONTROL. When this craving of salt is strong, it usually means that you have a mineral deficiency...try to take a multivitamin pill daily, your salt cravings should reduce.

How to have a happy period?
Eat well, EXERCISE and SLEEP WELL.

Eat healthy, DO NOT skip meals, DO NOT starve yourself

And girls who are schooling or wad, DUN GIVE BULLSHIT that you are having cramps, cannot do work, cannot go to school, cannot do PE. GO AND EXERCISE. It will reduce your cramps. IT DOES, TRUST ME. The more you curl up like one ball on the bed, the worse it will become. Try to avoid taking pills for cramps, bad for your liver and kidneys.

Sleep is important for girls who are on their period or b4...your body needs to recover and rest from that bleeding period. Tired? SLEEP. Simple. No time to sleep? UP on iron intake and u should feel better.

Simple exercise and some tips


I am starting my new exercise program from today. Start out slow again after resting for A LONG LONG TIME. 

I came home after school, with make up. 
TIPS for girls: DO NOT wear make up for exercise, especially if you use foundation, concealer, etc. Eye make up only is ok but make sure it's waterproof. You won't want to become a panda while exercising. Girls who make up to gym, pls, u are there at the gym to exercise or attract attention? Maybe you want somemore confidence? Oh well...if you have your make up on, REMOVE the foundation cos it WILL clog your pores. Whether you like it or not, even if the bottle/tube says NON-CLOG, IT WILL CLOG. And girls know that CLOG=PIMPLES=BAD SKIN=YUCK. 

Moral of all the nagging: REMOVE YOUR MAKE UP BEFORE EXERCISING YOU VAIN POT. 




I removed one side of the makeup. yea, HUGE difference in my eyes. It looks less define. But MAIN point of my exercise is to SWEAT and FEEL GOOD. WHO CARES ABOUT HOW I LOOK?!

1st round: double jump skips
2nd round: Single jump skips
3rd round: Single jump with alternate legs, single leg, cross hand, double turns
4th round: Double, triple turn skips, open close leg skips, front back skips, alternate 
Shadow Boxing: 2 rounds of 3 mins
Crunches: 500 reps 1 set

I sweat....not a lot...cause its night time, BUT it's a good kick start to my program since I can't weight lift cause of my fractured wrist

has been a LOOOONG time since i last posted

yes...yes....recovery is impt...and its 3:42am and im not asleep.....apparently im bz lookin for more income. ANYWAY, did i tell u guys i officially lost 20kg?

This week I have been feeling quite giddy and lightheaded...think due to the lack of sleep and iron as i am losing blood...girls thingy u know.

and OH I cut my hair as it was dropping like MAD. It was like...i cannot even describe it..so I had a haircut/shave.

My boxing life.

So I've been quite active....I THINK SO LA...Trying to train harder. What I have noticed about my physical changes are def my deltoids....I have never really trained my deltoids specifically.
